It does seem that way sometimes. The book is 62 pages, and contains many images. It’ll take a little bit to download (especially on mobile devices), so please be patient. Also, I found that choice of browser matters for speed; Chrome was responsive, but Safari on iOS was very slow.
Once it downloads, I’d recommend saving it to the device. On iOS, I just copy it to iBooks to save it.
If the specific error looks like “cannot parse response” or “connection timed out”, it might actually be the browser (for reasons I don’t fully understand).
Mobile versions of Safari sometimes experience issues with PDF downloads. If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, try giving Chrome or another third-party browser a shot.
Alternatively, try downloading the book on a desktop or laptop and sending it to your device of choice.
